Darlington Malayalee Association
The Darlington Malayalee Association (DMA) is a registered community organisation dedicated to supporting Malayalee families in Darlington and the surrounding areas of County Durham.
Founded by members of the local Malayalee community, DMA provides a platform for cultural exchange, social connection, and mutual support. Whether you have recently moved to Darlington or have lived here for years, you are warmly invited to join us.
Our Mission
- Preserve and promote Malayalam language and Kerala cultural heritage
- Organise community events, festivals, and social gatherings
- Support new arrivals and families settling in Darlington
- Foster friendship and unity among Malayalee residents
What We Do
Throughout the year we host Onam and Vishu celebrations, monthly community meetups, children's programmes, charity initiatives, and sports activities. Our events calendar is updated regularly on this website.
